Mounting a measuring arm into a CNC can be restrictive. However, having the measuring arm fixed just out of the machining area is a great solution to measure the part into the machine.

In this position, the arm is away from the cooling liquid and the metal shavings. When the machinning program is done, open the machine door and start the measuring program.
