This advanced material delivers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, giving the Azimuth superior speed and precision. Despite its substantial size, the Azimuth achieves impressive velocity without compromising on accuracy. Its drive mechanisms are built for both reliability and ease of use, and the innovative Y-axis solution maintains consistent performance across all machine sizes, up to 3 meters wide.

Large-scale machines must also be capable of handling the measurement of heavy components — an area where Aberlink has introduced a smart and efficient solution. Instead of resorting to a deeper, heavier, and more expensive granite base, we provide a purpose-built load plate that rests on the granite surface. This plate is engineered to support weights of up to six tonnes, transferring the load directly through the bench feet to the floor. As a result, metrology performance remains completely unaffected.
