The Axiom’s all-aluminium beam structure delivers both low inertia for rapid acceleration and quick measurement cycles. Just as importantly, the beam’s thermal properties allow it to match ambient room temperature swiftly—an essential advantage when operating outside of a climate-controlled environment. Integrated temperature compensation within the software ensures that all results are automatically adjusted to standard reference conditions of 20°C (68°F).

Reliable Accuracy

Originally designed for the precision demands of the optics industry, the standard granite and aluminium table offers exceptional natural damping of high-frequency vibrations. The granite Y-axis rail enables bi-directional preloading of the bridge’s air bearings, ensuring enhanced stability and superior measurement accuracy.

The brand-new Axiom is the latest evolution of this highly respected CMM line. Featuring a stiffer bridge design and wider air bearing separation, the updated Axiom builds on an already excellent platform. It offers faster performance, improved accuracy, and maintains the same high reliability, making it the CMM of choice in its target market.

With three different measuring volumes available and Y-axis travels up to 1200 millimeters, there’s an Axiom model to suit every small to mid-size application. The Axiom is available as either a manual machine or with full CNC control.
